Abstract

Abstract. The article considers the format of the quest as an innovative form of development of gastronomic tourism. Currently, gastronomic tourism is becoming especially attractive from the consumer's point of view, at the same time, opening up opportunities for the development of tourist business. Subject: tourist quest as a form of tourist activity. Purpose: theoretical study of tourist quests as a tool for the development
of gastronomic tourism. Methods: methods of analysis, induction and deduction, synthesis and comparison were used. In the course of theoretical research, the conceptual apparatus in the field of quest technologies was studied, the current state of development of tourist quests was analyzed, and the objects necessary for the formation of a gastronomic tourist quest were identified. The scientific significance lies in the fact that the authors gave a definition of the concept of "tourist quest" and presented a resource scheme for the formation of gastronomic tourist quests. The introduction of gastronomic quests into tourism is a promising direction for the development of domestic tourism and a tool for increasing the competitiveness of tourist services and attracting tourist flows.
